The ITEM Coalition is a national consumer - and clinician-led coalition advocating for access to and coverage of assistive devices and technologies for persons with injuries, illnesses, disabilities, and chronic conditions of all ages.
Access to ostomy, urological, and tracheostomy supplies is critical to individual members in our 100+ organizational membership. Competitive bidding threatens access to patient care, quality, and choice. For these reasons, we strongly oppose implementation of this flawed policy.
